All pupils who attend White Spire School have an EHCP (Educational, Health, Care Plan). The school is a specialist provision for children and young people within Milton Keynes whose primary need is Cognition and Learning.
We are an all through school which goes from reception to year 14. At White Spire, we realise that we have an essential role to play in shaping the lives of young people in our care.
We have a broad and balanced curriculum that has been refined to ensure that our pupils have the best opportunities to develop academically, emotionally and socially. Within year 10 and above, pupils take part in a range of coursework subjects from pre-entry level to level 1. Courses and activities are selected to meet the needs of the individual pupils and our classes.
We are a proud school with strong family values where all pupils and their needs matter. We have a dedicated staff team. Pupils, staff and the wider community all support the school and its values. Pupils are always encouraged and supported to do their absolute best whilst being as independent as possible. Learning and support are individualised for each pupil thus supporting everybody to become a successful and happy member of the school and wider community from childhood to adulthood.
We feel that it is important that everybody is happy and safe and that we prepare our pupils for everyday life, giving them the skills needed to take the next steps in whichever pathway they choose.
At White Spire all we do is based on the values of Kindness, Enjoyment, Commitment, Cooperation, Creativity, Enthusiasm, Equality, Honesty, Respect, Trust and Individuality.
