School Uniform

The school has a uniform to promote a community spirit for pupils, parents, staff and everyone involved here.

It is therefore expected that pupils conform to wearing this. It is not seen as an area of confrontation, but one of co-operation.


General uniform requirements are:

  1. All articles of clothing should be clearly marked with the owner’s name.
  2. The only jewellery permitted is a watch and a stud-type earring for both boys and girls.
Reception to Year 11
  • Navy blue jumper (with/without logo)
  • White or blue blouse, shirt, polo (with/without logo)
  • Dark grey/black skirt or trousers
  • A dark coat in colder months
  • Black shoes/trainers

Year 12 to Year 14

(Sixth Form)
  • Suitable trousers, leggins (not revealing)/Smart jeans
  • Shirts/blouses/t-shirts with no large logos
  • Smart shoes/trainers/shoes with heels of appropriate height

Required PE Kit
  • Dark shorts or joggers
  • White t-shirt/polo
  • Dark jumper/hoodie

No jewellery may be worn for these lessons for safety reasons. The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of any valuables.

NOTE: You are welcome to buy uniform without badges in school colours should you wish.

The school holds a stock of second-hand uniforms, which is available free depending on circumstances. This is put out on parent's evenings, alternatively you can contact the school office. Â
